Te Whatupungapunga Whare Wānanga Ō Nukutāwhiti welcomes those who feel called to begin your Tohunga journey through Inherent Mauri IO knowledge systems grounded in whakapapa, lived experience, responsibility, service, navigation, ceremony, practical attainment, and direct relationship with IO.

This is not a pathway founded upon instant gratification, transactional attainment, or institutional dependency. It is a living pathway requiring commitment, discipline, humility, participation, practical learning, and embodied experience.

Tomokanga remains open throughout the year. Ngā Whare Wānanga (houses) remain open for those who are genuinely prepared to walk the Tohunga IO pathway with humility, commitment, and responsibility.

Learning may take place through:

MSN,
Zoom,
Café catch ups,
Wānanga,
Travel,
Ceremonial participation,
Practical lived experiences,
or through living environments with our people and communities to begin your Tohunga journey.

Current learning locations include:

Northland,
Auckland,
Christchurch,
Tahiti, 

We also intend to extend our learning locations and relationships throughout:

Rarotonga,

Hawai‘i,

Rapa Nui,

Japan,

Tibet,

Africa,

and many other places throughout the world over time.

There is no actual financial cost for the learning itself.

Students must still be able to:

-transport themselves to learning locations,
-cover their own travel,
-provide their own food to share
-and contribute toward their own rental or boarding arrangements where required with us.

There are no student loans, reimbursements, or externally funded dependency systems attached to this pathway.

I was raised by Tohunga who gave of themselves freely to their whānau and communities for over 50 years. For me this is true service. They recieved koha or donations but never asked for it. They urged me to follow the same Tikanga, which I will.

We are not here to make money. We are here to quantum navigate the Multi-Dimensional IO-Verse.

Te Whatupungapunga Whare Wānanga Ō Nukutāwhiti exists to help restore the living pathways of Inherent Mauri IO knowledge systems, consciousness, responsibility, and transmission once more. Elements of the ancient Whare Wānanga have been formulated for our contemporary environment. The origin essence is the same. We are open, looking for 13 IO-Pia.
